There is a high turnover rate, so although they will make you think you're a part of the team, or family, you're just as disposable as the next peon. My manager kept encouraging me to "let the team warm up to you, so you can be an affective leader." Yet, as stated above, they would just refuse to "warm up to me." It seemed the only way to be respected around there is if you were liked. I'm still awaiting HR to review the security footage that will prove these claims false, but since I resigned, I'm not holding my breath. FoxTrot Professional is relevant to anyone with documents saved for future reference in field testing, the product has been especially well received in legal (law firm and courts), media (newsrooms researchers, ad agencies and editors) and mobile contexts (MacBook users with document collections). Well, when I took my issues to HR, apparently there was a report I got physical with a commissary delivery driver. ".those are just conspiracy theories.you need to get out of that headspace." They do seem to have a feature/util that does a scheduled update. My concern now is keeping the FoxTrot indexes updated. When bringing these issues to management, I would be met with gatekeeping. I just downloaded (30-day trial) of the FoxTrot Professional Search (see above link), and it WILL index server shares like on the Synology NAS. "Teammates" would also take a very standoff position towards me for no reason. I had "teammates" actually disregarding my requests as shift leader. One location tried to unionize, they were all fired. If the day is slow, they will not hesitate to send people home early. It's hard to get those hours now because they're cutting back everyone's hours - during the holidays too and again, they're still hiring more people. What used to be 20hrs minimum for health benefits, turned into 26hrs. After a month in, training is still not finished yet more people are hired.Īlso, the requirements for benefits changed after I was hired and I now no longer qualify for the benefits. This continued for my first two weeks of someone calling out daily so my training was non-existent. On my first day, someone called out so my first shift was stressful. This should have been a red flag for me as most interviews go out of their way to see if you're a good fit for a job but I didn't feel this to be the case during mine. The conversation was kept mostly about the position and what Foxtrot needed and what I was looking for in a job. The interview was casual, almost too casual, and there wasn't a chance to go over my skills or work history. I was hired the same day of my interview which has never happened before. Despite this company expanding often, it's shocking to see the benefits get taken away. Everything like the monthly $100 store credit, health insurance, employee discounts, have been downgraded since I started. I only wanted to work part-time so to get benefits as a part-timer really got my attention but that quickly was taken away once I started. I also saw benefits on my application which seemed promising. I applied here because it looked awesome inside.
